This natural enclave is home to an exceptional endemic biodiversity, including 8 species of lemurs roaming freely, an abundance of birds, a remarkable variety of reptiles and amphibians, and mammals of all sizes, playing a crucial role in the ecological balance.

In addition to its natural wealth, Anjajavy also preserves several cultural treasures, such as the Sakalava tombs.
